Nespresso pulls off major coup with David Beckham signing

Football superstar David Beckham has inked a lucrative deal to advertise Nespresso Coffee, joining Hollywood legend George Clooney on the brand’s celebrity partner roster.

The move will bring even more star power to the Swiss coffee brand which has famously worked with Clooney for close to twenty years routinely pairing the ‘Gravity’ front man with other famous faces across its advertising, including Oscar-winner Jean Dujardin last year.

This partnership marks the latest in a long string of blockbuster celebrity brand deals for the former England midfielder, who along with his wife Victoria Beckham is estimated to be worth around £425 million.

Speculation will now no doubt be rife as to whether Nespresso might plan to film a campaign with both Clooney and Beckham side-by-side, or even place the Manchester United legend alongside another entirely new celebrity partner.

On the announcement, Beckham said: “I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee. Whether I am having a quiet moment at home with my family or preparing myself for a business meeting, the variety of blends is great, it’s so simple to make and every cup tastes incredible.”
