Actress and singer Martine McCutcheon takes centre stage in Lidl’s new TikTok film for retailer Lidl.
Entitled ‘Ooh ah just a Lidl bit’, the lyrics highlight the benefits of the Lidl plus app.
Created by social media focused agency Coolr, the film taps in to Hun Culture (a very British celebration of all that is camp, leopard print, and prosecco-fuelled). The spot also stars the likes of Diane from The Traitors and Charity Shop Sue.

Commenting on TikTok one user said, “I’m an Aldi girl, but this be swaying me”.
Another added: “Never been so proud to say I shop at Lidl, this is iconic.”
Things at the discount supermarket have been on the up over the past year, as Kantar figures showed the supermarket delivering its quickest rate of growth since May 2021.
Earlier this summer, the retailer poached Tesco’s Joanna Gomer to be its newest marketing director.
