Primark is donating over £1m to a range of breast cancer charities as part of the fashion retailer’s biggest-ever Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
This year marks the retailer’s fourth Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. The ‘We’re with you’ theme focuses on self-directed videos and photographs, spotlighting the cancer journeys of five women living in different countries.
Fundraising efforts for the charities – including Breast Cancer Now among others – will also be bolstered by 37 new products designed for women who have had breast cancer.
Available from 1 October, the new range comprises specialist products developed by women affected by breast cancer, including a post-surgery range with a zip-front wireless bra with a concealed zip and a t-shirt bra which fastens at the front.

The retailer has also pledged to donate more than £1 million to cancer charities across the UK, Europe and the US including a £330,000 donation to Breast Cancer Now, supporting its UK-based ‘Someone Like Me’ service.
“We’re committed to supporting women through all stages of their lives, and it’s incredibly moving to hear the stories of the real women featured in our ‘We’re with you’ campaign, who are each on their own inspiring breast cancer journeys,” said Primark UK retail director Kari Rodgers.
“We’re so proud to once again be working with Breast Cancer Now to continue raising awareness and donating vital funds, and to be offering customers our biggest-ever range of affordable and accessible products to support those who really need it.”
Volunteers from Breast Cancer Now will also visit ten flagship Primark stores throughout October to share vital information with shoppers.
“We’re incredibly grateful to be partnering with Primark once again, funding our vital Someone Like Me Service for the second year,” said Breast Cancer Now director of fundraising, communications and engagement Rachael Franklin.
“This partnership means we can be there for more people affected by breast cancer, as well as raising vital breast awareness through in-store activations.”
