Palmers cocoa butter lays it on 'thicc' with 9-metre high murals

Palmers has created 9-metre tall 3D-looking murals of its popular Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion which shows the product breaking through brick walls.

Conceived by JAA media agency, the out-of-home murals are located in Brixton, London and the Northern Quarter, Manchester, show moisturiser being squeezed out from the bottle and feature the slogan “It’s Thicc”.

Specially created by artists from Global Street Art, the works took over four days to create and will remain in situ until the end of the month.

In addition to the murals, the “It’s Thicc” slogan can also be seen across key locations around the TfL (Transport for London) bus network all carrying a T-side creative.

“Palmer’s came to us with a brief to bring their iconic, thick and luxurious Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion to life this summer. Working alongside Talon, Grand Visual and Global Street Art we’ve created two enormous murals that really make the product pop,” said JAA commercial director Sue Fernando-Solini.

“Our brand is known for our intensely moisturising Cocoa Butter Formula so this summer we’ve gone bigger than ever before with the creation of these giant 3D murals, bus media campaign and D6 Loop package in Manchester,” said Palmer’s UK and France marketing director Zahira Beddou.

“Building on our Summer in a Bottle campaign that featured on Love Island we’re celebrating summer skincare and driving awareness across our core audience of young, fabulous women.”
