Uber Eats shares much anticipated star-studded Super Bowl spot

News

Uber Eats has shared its Super Bowl spot starring Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, which centres on the theme of forgetfulness.

It also features appearances from the Beckhams, Usher and Jelly Roll.

The advert starts with Jennifer Aniston receiving flowers from an assistant who says “I didn’t know you could get all this stuff on Uber Eats, I gotta remember that”.

Aniston replies: “Well you know what they say. In order to remember something, you gotta forget something else”.

The theme of forgetfulness continues throughout the advert with David Beckham saying to his wife “Remember when you used to be a pepper lady”.

The couple continue “Wasn’t it the cinnamon sisters, basil babes, paprika girls”.

The advert ends with David Schwimmer saying to Aniston “We worked together for ten years”. “Ten years?” replies Aniston. “You still don’t know do you?,” Schwimmer responds.

“No. Like I’d forget ten years of my life,” Aniston storms off before text appears reading: “Whatever you forget, remember Uber Eats gets groceries, alcohol, anything”.

The spot closes with Usher saying “I hope I get to play the half time show some day, man”.

The much anticipated full spot follows on from the release of the Super Bowl advert teaser, a tongue-in-cheek take on David and Victoria’s infamous “Be honest” moment.

It will be shown at the Super Bowl on Sunday 11 February.
