Independent end-to-end agency Rankin Creative has named the former Futerra creative director Tom Loader as its new creative director.
Loader’s appointment is a key hire for Rankin Creative, coming as part of its wider mission to build a leading luxury and lifestyle agency after being founded by cultural provocateur, photographer and director John Rankin in 2018.
In the new role, he will be working closely with chief creative officer Warren Beeby – who joined Rankin Creative just last month – to help brands harness the power of culture to tell unique and relevant stories.
“Utilising culture is the most powerful tool we have to make a mark and be remembered,” said Loader.

“Brands don’t have to change the world on their own, but they do need to work out their own place in it. It’s key for brands to understand how they look at the world, how they feel about it, and the role they can play within it,” he continued.
“Rankin Creative has access to the biggest brands on the planet – and the chance to create things the world’s been waiting for.”
Warren Beeby, chief creative officer at Rankin Creative said: “I’m delighted to welcome Tom into the team – he shows endless curiosity and is fascinated by the power of culture to affect change. He will be invaluable to our work to help build brands that matter.”
As the creative director for Futerra since 2017, Loader has a wealth of experience from within the industry, having previously worked on brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, COS, Bulgari, and the UN. He also previously worked as a senior creative at Don’t Panic.
