Cryptocurrency exchange OKX is continuing its flagship sponsorship of Manchester City FC by launching a new football-themed metaverse activation in partnership with club captain İlkay Gündoğan.
‘Make Your Play’ will enable fans to attend an ‘exclusive tactical football masterclass’ run by Gündoğan. The ‘immersive’ metaverse experience will see the German star step into the OKX Collective metaverse to guide fans through pre-planned drills and explain his in-game decision making processes.
The OKX Collective also features exclusive content from a range of other Manchester City players, from both the men’s and women’s squads including Alex Greenwood, İlkay Gündoğan, Jack Grealish and Rúben Dias.
Fans visiting the experience will equally be able to enjoy bespoke executions tailored around each footballer’s playing style and personal interests which will include exclusive training content, music and NFT-based digital experiences.

Within the OKX Collective, users will also have the chance to enter competitions to win prizes such as passes to team trainings and match tickets.
