JustGiving campaign asks the nation to ‘Join The JustGivers’

JustGiving has unveiled a new integrated campaign to encourage the nation to ‘Join The JustGivers’ and raise money through the fundraising platform.

Developed by creative agency Good, the campaign shines a light on real-life fundraisers, celebrating their work and the charities they support.

Featuring a voice-over from ‘national treasure’ Jim Broadbent, the accompanying spot explores three core narratives. The first is ‘3 Dads Walking’ who have fundraised over £1 million for Papyrus, raising crucial awareness in memory of their three daughters who lost their lives to suicide. Paula Craig’s story also features, a woman, who, after becoming paraplegic as a result of a bike accident, swam the channel for Aspire. The last story is that of Manny Kang, who tirelessly fundraisers by selling Samosas every weekend for Dementia UK.

“Our latest integrated campaign truly captures our community,” JustGiving head of marketing Stacey Buckingham said. “We’re inspired every day by our fundraisers and what they’re able to achieve and we hope that by showcasing some of our actual fundraisers and their achievements it will inspire others to believe that they too can make a real difference.”

The campaign will roll out across TV and social channels.

Good executive creative director Bryn Attewell added: “It was a joy to work with the JustGiving team and some of their amazing fundraisers on this campaign. Not only did we get to tell their inspiring stories, we also got to experience freezing temperatures, frogmen, saunas, paragliders, drones, and some of the best samosas ever to come out of Wolverhampton. What more could you ask for?”
