Sky Bet names new agency of record

Sky Bet has today (7 March) named Grey London as its agency of record following a competitive pitch process designed by consultancy Creativebrief.

Throughout the pitching process, the betting giant had been looking to focus on prioritising strategic thinking alongside creative development.

“We’ve got a bright and busy future ahead of us and we needed an agency partner who can help us chart this next, exciting stage for Sky Bet, and that’s who we’ve found in Grey,” Sky Bet head of brand and sponsorship, Leigh Peacock-Goodwin said.

“Their strategic thinking, in particular, shone throughout the pitch process, and to go along with that, they’re just good people. We can’t wait to get started.”

The agency will now be responsible for developing a long-term strategic brand platform for Sky Bet and will help set the firm’s future direction in order to cement its position as one of the UK’s leading sports betting brands.

Grey London join managing director, Jonny Tennant Price added: “It’s rare for a client team to dedicate themselves so passionately and comprehensively to the role of the brand in transforming their business.”

“In the next few months, we will be implementing a pioneering new brand strategy for Sky Bet that will lead to exciting new creative work. With a strong partnership between agency and client, Sky Bet is at the start of an exciting new chapter.”
