Ben Affleck works for Dunkin’ Donuts in Super Bowl spot

Last night, during the Super Bowl LVII game, Dunkin’ Donuts unveiled an advertisement that saw Ben Affleck work for the US donuts chain.

The actor – who has played characters ranging from Batman to Daredevil – was filmed serving customers in a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru.

While some customers were shocked to be greeted by the actor made famous by Good Will Hunting, others simply did not recognise Affleck. “Do I look familiar?” the star asked one man, who abruptly replied: “No.”

Towards the end of the spot, the actor’s wife and American actress Jennifer Lopez – otherwise known as J-Lo – interrupts Affleck’s Dunkin’ Donuts shift.

“What are you doing here?”

“You’re embarrassing me in front of my friends,” Affleck responds.

“Is this what you do when you say you’re going to work all day?”

In an exclusive interview with People, the actor confirms his love for the coffee and donuts chain, saying: “I think people already sort of think that I work for Dunkin.”

The news comes hours after it was revealed that Disney’s 100th-anniversary Super Bowl ad was the most successful ad of the night, according to marketing decision-platform System1.
