Nike releases Lebron James ad the exact moment he breaks NBA’s all-time scoring record

Nike has unveiled its latest advertisement celebrating Lebron James illustrious 20-year basketball career.

The sports giant released the ad the exact moment the star broke the NBA’s all-time scoring record, which was previously held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 38,387 points.

Released on Nike’s official Twitter account, the 1-minute spot highlights James’ successful career, featuring a montage of his achievements which is also set to a gospel song.

The intention of the campaign is to celebrate and showcase the special experience of witnessing the basketball great’s athletic career.

Nike captioned the ad: “20 years later, we are who we’ve always been – Witnesses to
@KingJames never-ending greatness. #WitnessGreatness”

The commercial has been received very positively online. One Twitter user wrote “well damn done”, while another posted “gospel over highlights, premium Nike activities”.
