A Group M team led by creative agency Wavemaker has been named as the global agency network for Adevinta following a competitive pitch process.
Kicked-off in July last year, the process involved a ‘thorough local review’ alongside strategic exercises and meetings in each market.
Worth US$60 million, Adevinta’s account includes some of the biggest online classifieds ads spaces across the global market, include France’s leboncoin and Germany’s Mobile.de.
As part of the new business win, Wavemaker will also take on responsibility for the Marktplaats.nl, 2dehands.be, Subito and Kleinanzeigen covering the Dutch, Belgian, Italian and German markets respectively – with all brands to be managed by a centralised Wavemaker team.
