JCDecaux selects five charity partners for 2023 and 2024

JCDecaux has picked five charities to work with in 2023 and 2024, including ALONE, Barnardos, Fairtrade, Fighting Blindness and the Peter McVerry Trust.

Each charity will be given access to the out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm’s portfolio of outdoor advertising formats to promote their respective causes.

JCDecaux has been running a formal charity partnership initiative since 2016, which is part of its ESG strategy. The company reportedly understands the relevance of its ad formats in the public sector as a ‘community communications channel’ as it looks to ensure that these advertising channels continue to positively contribute to society.

“This year we had the highest number of applications for our charity partnership program to date and the standard of entries was extremely high,” JCDecaux marketing director Tony O’Flanagan said.

“Incredible work is being done by the charity sector in so many different areas. We are really looking forward to working closely with our charity partners over the next two years and we are confident that our formats will play a vital role in raising awareness of the crucial work that all of our charity partners are doing.”
