Sofology has unveiled its debut campaign with its creative agency The Corner London, which sees Helena Bonham Carter return to advertise the brand.
The 30-second spot – titled ‘Nothing feels like’ – sees the actor enter her home to find everything set up unusually. Everything apart from her green Sofology sofa has been turned upside down.
Towards the end of the ad Bonham Carter falls backwards onto her settee, gazing at her room from a different perspective.
The brand’s film – directed by Chris Cottam through Chief – closes with the line ‘Feel at home on a sofa you love’.
“The world can confuse and discombobulate you but when you get home and get a chance to lie down on your sofa then suddenly everything can feel the right way up again,” Bonham Carter told Campaign Live.
The campaign, supported by wider assets that celebrate self-expression, will feature across TV, video-on-demand, press, social and digital platforms, as well as in-store activity.

Sofology director of creative Sebastian Brown added: “We wanted this campaign to really focus on magnifying what it feels to ‘feel at home on a sofa you love’ and that incredible bliss when your sofa is the best place in the world.
“The TV ad spearheads the ‘Nothing feels like’ campaign, and lays a strong brand communication platform through the customer journey. The whole process is a great example of how in-house creative has successfully collaborated with the agency world.”
The news comes months after sofa, bed and furniture brand Loaf launched a major new advertising campaign with independent creative agency Isobel.
