Webuyanycar has unveiled its latest TV ad featuring the viral TikTok dancing sensation Mufasa.
The new, energetic and uplifting spot sees the car-buying brand ride along with the social media star who dances along to a remix of Nightcrawlers’ 1992 hit ‘Push The Feeling On’.
The lyrics have been transformed from the star’s original ‘It’s Friday then’ take on the 90s hit to ‘Just Sold My Car’.
The campaign launch, handled by Brothers & Sisters and Caviar, comes months after the brand decided to terminate its five-year contract with This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield.
“Our new ad campaign is fun, exciting and something completely different that we hope will bring joy and put a smile on people’s faces,” a Webuyanycar spokesperson told LBB Online.
“While Mufasa is featuring in our launch ads, we’re no longer having a celebrity ambassador represent the brand, instead shining a light on ordinary people with a zest for life. Our new ads are all about celebrating that feel good moment when you sell your car with ease – we can’t wait to reveal more later this year.”
