Deliveroo is set to put live World Cup scores on the sides of its moped drivers’ delivery boxes.
Created in partnership with out-of-home ad provider Ad-Moto, the ‘Roosults’ campaign will see a selection of the delivery service rider’s boxes transformed into three-sided digital LED screens.
The intention is to provide those who are missing out on watching the games with an update on scores throughout the tournament.
The news comes a day after Outvertising, a LGBTQIA+ advocate group within the ad industry, asked brand owners and agencies for ‘allyship’ during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The live screens will be driving around the UK on 21, 25 and 29 November in cities London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Swansea.

“As many of the games will take place during the day and early evening, thousands of people in local communities where we operate will be at work, on their way to work, or out and about running errands,” Deliveroo head of consumer communications Aisha Jefferson.
“Our ‘Roosults’ rider screens mean people won’t have to miss a minute of the action and can rest easy knowing Deliveroo is not only there to deliver tasty match-day meals but match-day scores, too.”
