CRM specialist HubSpot has this week made its native integration for WhatsApp available to all Marketing Hub and Service Hub customers at the Professional tier and above.
This new integration is set to deepen HubSpot’s commitment to creating connected experiences and will enable marketing and service teams to gain more extensive visibility into customer interactions.
“It’s important to connect with customers in the channels they use,” HubSpot EMEA senior director, Inken Kuhlmann-Rhinow said.
“That’s why we’re excited to integrate WhatsApp and launch a rich feature set, including all the unified inbox, automation, and personalisation our customers love with our Marketing and Service products.
“Most importantly, with HubSpot’s deeply connected platform, all your connections are automatically measurable so you can track effectiveness and easily tune and maximise your ROI.
She continued: “The UK has become the second largest market globally for us and the largest in Europe with more than 10,000 paying customers in 2021. That’s why we’re excited to share this new integration to allow our global customers another way to connect with their customers.”

Capitalising on the messaging platform’s 17.8 million daily UK users, HubSpot’s integration will give businesses the chance to connect an existing WhatsApp business account as a messaging channel to their shared inbox, in order to better communicate with both current customers and prospects.
Meta director of partnerships, business messaging, Kyle Jenke added: “Messaging is how people and businesses want to communicate and get business done.
“Businesses of all sizes are embracing this shift and finding new opportunities to better engage with customers, offer support, and drive sales. We’re excited to work with HubSpot to make WhatsApp available for more businesses to better manage the end-to-end customer journey on our messaging platform.”
