Watch: Pringles launches festive football mashup with Grey London

Pringles has this week unveiled a new TV spot that celebrates this year’s unique collision of festive cheer and World Cup football.

Produced by creative agency Grey London, the 20-second spot positions the Kellogg’s-owned brand as the go-to sharing snack for the upcoming festive football extravaganza.




Centred around the ‘It’s Pringles Season’ tagline, the brand has also announced that it will be releasing a limited-edition run of Christmas-themed cans featuring the new-look Mr. P alongside snowmen, penguins, Father Christmas and elves.

“Pringles is synonymous with celebrations, from Christmas to NYE and watching the football with friends,” Pringles European marketing manager, Aisling O’Hara said.

“This is no ordinary winter, as we experience two of the biggest celebratory events in just one season. Our new advert highlights these moments and demonstrate that Pringles is the perfect snack for any occasion.”

Set to the tune of ‘Carol of the Bells’ the spot will run across TV screens until New Year’s Eve.
