M&S teases its Christmas ad prior to official release tomorrow

M&S has taken to Twitter to tease its Christmas ad prior to its official release tomorrow.

The brand’s Christmas Fairy – voiced by Dawn French – which featured in the retailer’s last Christmas ad, will return to screens this year to bring another product to life.

In November 2021, the fictional fairy accidentally waved her wand and brought Percy Pig to life, voiced by Spider-Man actor Tom Holland.

This year the mystical character will sprinkle her magic on someone or something once again.

M&S tweeted: “Our beloved Christmas Fairy is returning to screens *tomorrow*… and she’s not alone! Who has she sprinkled her magic on this year? Take a guess (it’s not as obvious as you might think)!”

People are already hedging their bets as to who the culprit could be. Many Twitter users are speculating that it could be Colin the Caterpillar, the star of the recent legal battle against Aldi and its alleged doppelganger Cuthbert the Caterpillar.
