Napolina appoints Honey Creative as new design partner amid creative overhaul

Liverpool-based Italian food brand Napolina has appointed London-based brand consultancy Honey Creative as its brand and design packaging partner.

The move comes as part of the Princes Group-owned firm’s ‘ambitious’ growth plans, as it looks to tap into the agency’s ability to create distinctive design ideas to better connect with consumers.

Honey’s appointment forms part of a wider creative overhaul for Napolina, which has also appointed Lucky Generals as its lead creative agency and Spin to handle to its social media.

The slew of new creative appointments follows the hiring of Princes Group’s new marketing director, Jeremy Gibson, who joined in April after having held senior marketing roles at PepsiCo, Innocent and Hovis.

“We have big ambitions for the brand and a critical piece of the jigsaw in achieving those, is our pack design,” Gibson said.

“With so many consumer decisions made at point of purchase our pack design needs to have real impact and resonance with our current and future consumers.

He continued: “Honey bring first class packaging expertise and together with our other agency partners will be key in helping us realise the brand’s full potential”.

Honey creative managing partner, Greg Vallance added: “Italian food plays a special part in consumers’ lives and we are thrilled to be working on the wonderful Napolina, a brand with great heritage and amazing potential. We look forward to helping the brand team write the next chapter in this Italian food love story”.
