Adam&eveBERLIN has appointed Christina Antes as its first managing director in a bid to further establish the creative agency in Germany.
The agency launched in May this year with Deutsche Telekom as its founding client.
In her new role, Antes will be charged with growing and leading the firm, sitting on the agency’s leadership team with adam&eveBERLIN’s chief creative officer, Jens Pfau, and chief strategic officer, Philipp Schwartz.
The appointment will see Antes move within the DDB network, leaving her role of chief marketing and growth officer for DDB Germany, where she worked since May 2021.
“Working within DDB has given me so many opportunities and I am very excited to join the adam&eveDDB family to help establish adam&eveBERLIN in Germany,” Antes said.
“The first time I met with Jens and Philip, I could tell we were united in our ambition and I can’t wait to unleash this power for our clients.”
Before starting her DDB journey, Antes worked for Serviceplan, a European independent agency group, where she became managing director after just 10 years at the company. Two years later, in 2018, she became a partner.
During the span of her career, the new managing director has worked with national and international accounts including Allianz, ABOUT YOU, BMW, HEINZ, MINI, mymüsli, Ottonova, Ooredoo, Pedigree, Sky, Strellson, Taxfix, and ZDF.
