Gala Bingo activation lets you take tea with one of ITV’s chasers

Online gambling platform Gala Bingo has revealed plans to launch an experiential consumer activation at London’s South Bank this October.

Running across 14 to 15 October, the activation will form part of Gala Bingo’s ongoing ‘Where A Little Joy Goes A Long Way’ brand platform created by London agency Neverland, which ran across a range of platforms in June this year.

Through Gala’s partnership of the ITV gameshow ‘The Chase’, members of the public who book the ‘Hot Air Balloon Tea Rooms’ will even be able to take tea with one of the show’s star ‘chasers’. Up to six guests will be able to reserve 45-minute slots at the experience.

“Gala is on a mission to put the brilliant back into Bingo for Britain. We have created a strong and powerful new brand identity and through the line campaign for Gala that embodies the brand positioning,” Gala Bingo head, Sara Jolly said.

“We are building on the strength that Gala has built over decades in Bingo Halls, but also creating a clear pathway to enable us to connect with our core target audience in a relevant, up to date way that cements us as the first choice for an online bingo experience.

She concluded: “We are really excited to launch Cup of Tea, a consumer experience that brings Gala Land to life in the ‘real world’ and people together through their love of bingo. The activation looks to create a real and wonderful place that encapsulates the very best bits of Britain, a place where “Bingo!” is the sound of triumph and a place where joy is absolutely everywhere.”
