Asahi Super Dry calls for a review of its global creative account

Asahi Super Dry, the Japanese beer firm, has called for a review of its global creative account.

Dentsu Creative is the current creative agency of choice for the brand and is said to be involved in the pitch process.

The news comes weeks after Asahi struck a multi-year partnership with City Football Group. Earlier this year the beer brand also unveiled its biggest marketing campaign ‘ever’.

To help with the search process, Asahi has collaborated with The Observatory International throughout the pitch process. The Observatory International is also aiding Škoda in a review of its global advertising accounts ahead of plans to develop a new brand platform.

In 2020, Dentsu Creative became Asahi’s agency after a competitive pitch that included the likes of Wunderman Thompson and Accenture Song’s The Monkeys.

The notable ‘Discovery is calling’ campaign in late 2020 intended to showcase the beer brand’s selection of products and entice new customers from across the globe.




“Asahi Super Dry is currently in the process of reviewing its global creative needs. The process is in its early stages and is expected to conclude by the end of 2022,” An Asahi spokesperson told Campaign Live.
