Just Eat replaces CMO behind Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry ads

Just Eat has promoted Victoria Gold to the UK and Ireland marketing director position as she approaches her tenth year in the company.

Gold replaces Matt Bushby, the UK marketing director behind the Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry ads who made a move last month to Rightmove, becoming the property marketplace’s chief marketing officer.

Beginning in the role of marketing director immediately, Gold moves up after being selected as the head of marketing communications by the brand in January 2016. She originally joined the company as a PR and partnerships executive but soon moved to the brand side of the company.

A Just Eat spokesperson told Campaign Live that Gold played a key role in the brand’s development “helping to evolve the brand from an early-stage challenger to a leading food delivery business”.

During his time at Just Eat, the brand’s ex-CMO Bushby also landed the brand’s sponsorship of the Love Island series for the last three years.

The new UK and Ireland marketing director added: “I’m delighted and proud to be taking over the UK and IE marketing reins, leading this amazing team of talent on the next stage of our Just Eat journey. After 10 years of hard graft and craft, I’ve landed the dream job.”
