Vodafone taps Emma Raducanu for Wimbledon-themed AR Snapchat experience

Telecom firm Vodafone has partnered with Wimbledon to create a tennis-themed AR experience on Snapchat, with brand ambassador Emma Raducanu taking part in the activation.

Users of the social media platform will be able to experience Wimbledon’s Centre Court via an augmented reality experience, developed with tournament sponsor Vodafone.

As part of her ongoing role as a Vodafone brand ambassador, US Open champion Emma Raducanu will appear on a video call to Snapchat users who have taken part in the AR experience.




The augmented reality lens has been made available from today (24 June) until the end of the championships on 16 July.

Vodafone UK head of social media and content, Jordan Stone added: “We are delighted to partner with Snapchat to highlight how our connectivity can bring tennis fans right into Wimbledon.
