Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin boards British Airways flights

Aviation Gin and British Airways have announced a new partnership, with the gin now available for customers to buy on all long-haul and short-haul flights.

The news follows the October 2021 launch of the Aviation bar in the airline’s JFK airport club lounge.

British Airways will also introduce a new route to Portland, Oregon on 3 June, the city in which Ryan Reynolds’ gin was founded back in 2006.

The route is set to see planes take off five times a week and will open a variety of west-coast connections for the transport company’s customers to explore.

The gin itself is said to be “infused with a democratic blend of botanicals” in order to “create a smoother, softer, more refined take on gin”.

“Partnering with Aviation American Gin is another great addition to our on-board service.”

Aviation American Gin international brand director Gareth Williams added: “We’re so excited to get on board with the UK flag carrier British Airways and take Aviation American Gin to new heights – the sky!”

“Through this partnership, we’re keen to enhance each traveller’s experience with a deliciously refreshing Aviation Gin cocktail for flyers to enjoy on journeys near and far, offering an American twist on this quintessentially British drink!”
