Rudimental to headline Beatport music event in partnership with EE

EE has teamed up with DJ music platform Beatport to secure Rudimental as its headline act for Parallel 5G.

The hybrid club night will return for the second time on 17 March in Leeds’s Temple Arches and will be powered by the network’s 5G.

Music fans will see exclusive sets from the likes of Rudimental, Arielle Free, Manami, Babyschon and Leeds local, Junior Samba.

The event will also be live-streamed using EE’s 5G network, in Millennium Square, Leeds, for those not lucky enough to secure the limited live tickets available. The DJ sets will be streamed using 5GEE VR headsets in 4K 360 quality.

“We saw huge success last year with Parallel 5G in Liverpool and Manchester. This year we are back, and it is bigger than before,” EE marketing communications director Pete Jeavons said.

Beatport Media Group VP Ed Hill added: “We’re really excited to be teaming up with EE to deliver another one of our 5G powered club nights to the people of Leeds.”

“The team are looking forward to seeing what the DJs have in store this time around as we’ve lined up some of the best names on the electronic music scene to show what’s possible in this space.”
