Sainsbury’s has unveiled a new spot, voiced by actor and presenter Stephen Fry.

The ad showcases the supermarket chain’s price-match initiative, which compares its Nectar-discounted products to rival retailer Aldi.

Devised by creative agency New Commercial Arts, the marketing drive is a continuation of its ‘Good Food for all of us’ platform. The 30-second spot follows a real-life Sainsbury’s employee as she provides good quality, low-cost food, whatever the weather.

The ‘Good Food for all of us’ platform premiered in 2023 and highlights the firm’s belief in providing good food for all its customers, “whatever their budget, tastes or dietary requirements, and however busy their daily lives”.

Previous campaigns under the platform include a series of three adverts that premiered earlier this month. The adverts were also narrated by Stephen Fry and ran across out-of-home, TV, social media and online.
