Creative agency MullenLowe has appointed Carlos Andrés Rodríguez as its UK executive creative director following the departure of Nicky Bullard last week.
Andrés Rodríguez had been working as global creative director out of the agency’s London office since 2023 and previously held the chief creative officer and executive creative director roles between 2015 and 2021, out of Bogotá in Colombia.
Upon Bullard’s departure, MullenLowe confirmed that it would not be seeking a direct replacement, but rather that a ‘new creative leadership’ would be put in place.
“London is one of my favourite places on Earth, and to keep growing in a network like MullenLowe is a dream come true,” Andrés Rodríguez said.

“I want to keep the creative momentum at the agency moving forward, push for transformative ideas that will positively impact our clients’ business, and help build up the careers of the great people working here.”
Reporting to chairman Tom Knox and working alongside managing director Katie McCambley and chief strategy officer Ben Shaw, Andrés Rodríguez will now be tasked with helping drive creative strategy and expand the agency’s client base.
Knox said: “Carlos is a phenomenal creative talent with boundless energy and charisma. He is tremendously driven and demanding, and I can’t wait to see his impact on our work.”
