Catalogue retailer Argos is celebrating its iconic brand mascots in its latest Christmas campaign, which stars Connie the doll and Trevor the dinosaur.
The 40-second TV spot, directed by Golden Globe winner Michael Gracey, will premiere during popular Channel 4 primetime shows such as Gogglebox and Big Brother.
The brand’s campaign, which builds upon its ‘There’s More To Argos’ platform launched last year, will span across TV, press, out-of-home and social platforms.

The ad features Trevor living out his rock star dreams, performing a cover of T-Rex’s classic hit 20th Century Boy on a mountain of Marshall speakers.
His best friend Connie appears as an adoring fan in the crowd. The campaign was developed by London agency T&Pm and animated by ETC, with music from David Kosten and sound by Munzie at Wave.
“Our customers love Trevor the dinosaur and Connie the doll, so we’re thrilled they’re back again to spread some festive fun and magic in such an energetic and upbeat way,” said Laura Boothby, head of campaigns at Argos, “At Argos, whatever your loved ones are dreaming of this Christmas, we’ve got it covered.”
T&Pm group creative directors, Matt Moreland and Chris Clarke added: “We wanted to turn it up to 11 this Christmas and create something that really rocked. We’re delighted with how the campaign turned out. Big thanks to the everyone that made it happen. Literal dream team.”
