Brewdog has announced plans to launch a new subscription service that will give users discounts and money to spend online and in its bars.

Brewdog Plus will set consumers back £99 a month and will give its members a total of £150 to spend in its own-brand bars. The scheme will also include free delivery and a free in-store coffee once a day.

Users of the service will be able to gain access to discounts and earn points through the new initiative as well.

The brand currently sells a subscription service that sends members a box full of eight beers every month. Brewdog Plus will become the first to cross-channel service to work across the brand’s bars and online platforms.

Planet Brewdog will also be included in the loyalty scheme which aims to promote sustainability company-wide and through its members.

In a Linkedin post, Brewdog CEO and founder James Watt branded Plus as “ground-breaking”.

The announcement of the new service comes months after Watt was accused of attempting to intimidate former Brewdog staff members who participated in a critical documentary about the alleged ‘culture of fear’ in the beer-brand’s workplace.
