Japanese beer Asahi Super Dry has named rugby player Ellie Kildunne as its official ambassador for its Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 sponsorship.

To celebrate the announcement, the beverage brand has released a set of new visuals of Kildunne, capturing her style off the pitch.

“With the tournament on home turf this summer, this is a year where women’s rugby will be more popular than ever, and we have a huge opportunity to bring the game to a whole new audience,” she said.

“It is amazing to see the work that Asahi Super Dry are doing to challenge perceptions and inspire more people to connect with the game, and I am proud to be a part of that with them.”

As part of its sponsorship, the brand unveiled a new campaign, titled ‘Rugby Like Never Before’, aimed at making women’s sports more accessible to fans.

The 2025 campaign forms part of the brand’s broader global partnership with the Rugby World Cup, which spans the men’s and women’s World Cups in 2025, 2027 and 2029.

Asahi will also launch a range of limited-edition packs that offer fans the chance to win tickets to the Rugby World Cup final.
