The additions of D’Arcy and Newman comes as the firm looks to bolster its management structure, in a bid to push on to its next phase of growth and expand its client portfolio.
Havas Play UK managing director Lucy Basden-Smith said: “Thanks to a flurry of projects, wins and retentions since launching in 2023, we’re ready for our next phase of growth with expert talent leading our teams.
“In Charlie, Tom and Karl, we are capable of building brilliant integrated campaigns that help clients play meaningfully in culture,” she added.
D’Arcy joins Havas Play from his director of brand and content role at TransferRoom. He previously spent time in commercial roles at Manchester United and CSM Sport & Entertainment. Newman makes the switch from Publicis Media, where he rose to MD of content practice role in eight years at the agency.
