Insurance firm Aviva is spotlighting its car insurance offering with a cinematically mysterious TV ad campaign that ends with a twist.
Developed by creative agency Adam&EveDDB, the 40-second spot features classic film noir tropes as we see a man travelling with a driver in the dead of night, only to find out that he’s being dropped off to stargaze with a friend after his car was damaged in an accident, with his Aviva insurance footing the bill.
Directed by Novemba and produced by Academy, the film aims to continue the brand’s emotive storytelling and reimagined brand expression, which launched last year.

“We’re thrilled with ‘The Night Job’ advert,” Aviva head of marketing comms, Sarah Leccacorvi said.
“It showcases our onward journey offering a story that strikes just the right balance between anticipation and light-hearted humour, in a category where it’s notoriously difficult to stand out.”
With media planning and buying handled by London-based firm Publicis Media, the campaign will run throughout the UK on TV, social media and digital channels.
