Trade tool retailer Screwfix has appointed M+C Saatchi Group UK as its new lead creative agency at the conclusion of a four-way competitive pitch process.

The London-based outfit will now be tasked with developing a distinctive new brand creative platform to support Screwfix’s next chapter of growth.

The creative will span a range of different touchpoints in a bid to connect with the retailer’s key target audience across the diverse ways it interacts with media.

“We were looking for a brilliant creative partner who could help us unlock the full potential of the Screwfix brand and business– one that understands and connects our specific audience, supports our award-winning omnichannel model, and helps us continue our growth,” said Screwfix marketing director, Jack Wallace.

M+C Saatchi fought off stiff competition from Pablo, New Commercial Arts and The Gate to secure the account, with this latest win building on recent successes and aligning with the agency’s new Cultural Power proposition.
