American sportswear brand Under Armour has snapped-up Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Morocco footballer Achraf Hakimi as its latest big-name brand ambassador.
The Madrid native joins the brand’s growing EMEA talent roster, which also includes Spain and Tottenham Hotspur’s Pedro Porro as well as Spain and Barcelona team-mates Ferran Torres and Marc Casadó – all three signed within the last year.
The Baltimore firm’s acquisition of Hakimi will be amplified by a 60-second social film that sees the PSG right-back modelling a selection of Under Armour gear.

As part of the partnership, Hakimi will also play in the brand’s Shadow Elite 3 football boots, as well as its performance and sportswear products off the pitch such as the Challenger, Terrace and Unstoppable ranges.
Hakimi added: “I am super excited to join Under Armour, a brand that designs great products and aligns perfectly with my personal values and ambitions.
“I look forward to growing my career with them as they rapidly expand in football and in sportswear, in France and across EMEA.”
