BMW-owned car manufacturer Mini has unveiled a takeover around Wembley Stadium ahead of England’s first qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup.
Devised by creative agency Monks London, Mini welcomed the England men’s team’s new manager Thomas Tuchel by playfully referring to its own German leadership.
The activations aim to “celebrate” Anglo-German partnerships and features copy that reads: “’MINI. German Management since 2001′, and ‘English Spirit. German Management.’ and ‘A match made in heaven”.

The activations can be found on the boulevard leading up to the stadium and on Box Park Wembley’s facade screen.
It will be supported by a single-page ad in the London Metro.
The activation is live now and should England win, will be followed up by a new activation praising the effectiveness of the joint partnership.
