Footwear retailer and manufacturer Timberland has named Drew Villani as its new global creative director of marketing. He joins from US fashion house Calvin Klein.
In his new role, Villani will be tasked with bringing the New Hampshire-based firm’s creative vision to life across all aspects of brand marketing, including art direction, photography, store design, styling, and video production.
According to Timberland, Villani will bring “extensive experience” to the role, having worked for a number of fashion brands as a creative and art director for the past decade, including Nike.

During his time at Calvin Klein, Villani secured a Wood Pencil at the D&AD Awards in 2023, calling the achievement an “acknowledgement” of the creative work carried out by the fashion industry.
In its latest campaign, Timberland celebrated its iconic status within the fashion community and the urban cultural scene, enlisting Noami Campbell and US singer Teddy Swims.
The move comes at a strong juncture for the brand, whose parent firm VF Corp posted sales figures in excess of expectations during its latest trading update last month.
