D&AD (Design and Art Direction) has named its 2025 D&AD Awards jury.
According to D&AD, there will be four days of live judging from 18 May to 22 May 2025. The D&AD Awards Ceremony will be held on 22 May at the Southbank Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Hall building.
The judging panels for the 44 categories will be made up of over 300 creatives from across 50 countries. Each panel will be overseen by a Jury President.

Creatives that have been selected to be Jury President include Pelle Sjoenell, worldwide chief creative officer at Droga5; Samar Maakaroun, partner & creative director at Pentagram; Pum Lefebure, chief creative officer at Design Army; Paco Conde, co-founder & executive creative director at Activista; Marco Giannelli (Pernil), chief creative officer at AlmapBBDO; Melody Sylvester, global managing director & EP Commercials at Common People Films; François Rousselet, director at DIVISION; Kalpesh Patankar, chief creative officer at Leo Burnett; Johanna Neurath, chair at Thames & Hudson Publishing Ltd; Debbi Vandeven, global chief creative officer at VML; Gail Bichler, creative director at The New York Times Magazine; and Boyoung Lee, EVP | brand experience & digital Innovation at Shinsegae.
Wood Pencils will be awarded for best work of the year and Graphite Pencils to stand-out work, Yellow Pencils are awarded for outstanding work, and Black Pencils are awarded for groundbreaking work.
The D&AD Awards have added three new categories this year: Brand Identity Refresh, New Brand Identity and Creator Content. These panels will be led by Frederico Gelli, co-founder and CEO of Tátil; Johanna Roca, creative venture partner at Accept & Proceed; and Karl Haddad, head of global creative lab at TikTok.
