Public broadcast network channel ITV celebrates ‘nights in’ with its latest campaign.

The TV spot, directed by Iconoclast’s Amara Abbas, depicts friends, family, neighbours, and several familiar faces sharing a night in.

It stars TV presenters Ant and Dec, comedian Mo Gilligan, Love Island star Maya Jama, actor Lee Mack, singer Alesha Dixon and TV presenter Holly Willoughby.

The ad plays tribute to ITV’s most popular shows including Britain’s Got Talent, The Masked Singer and the 1% Club.

Alongside the film, the network will launch channel takeovers and a social media campaign featuring its stars.

ITV Creative executive director Tom Houser said: “After a long week, there’s nothing better than getting friends and family together on the sofa to shout out answers, guess identities and wail along to some bangers. ITV is the home of Saturday night and this film is all about revelling in that.”

ITV head of marketing campaigns Simon Ricks added: “Electrifying ITV entertainment and Saturday nights go together like Ant & Dec. This campaign is a celebration of one of ITV’s superpowers – bringing the nation together for the ultimate shared viewing experience.

“Our entire ITV ecosystem will get the ‘Saturday Night’ treatment to delight audiences with the best night out, in.”
