Media agency Oliver has launched a range of AI Christmas cards to spread “holiday cheer”.

‘My Happy Place’ is an AI-powered holiday card that allows office workers to give a “personal touch” to their out-of-office emails.

Oliver global CCO Rod Sobral said: “Setting your Out Of Office is that punch-in-the-air-moment when work stops and the holidays start. So why does everyone leave such a joyless message?

“Your message should be as happy about the holidays as you are. Now with My Happy Place, users can stop sending an out of office and start sending an out of this world office.”

To create a card customers, can upload images, along with their holiday dates, and receive an AI landscape of their choosing.

“This is one of those projects that only AI can make happen,” added the media agency’s group creative director Magnus Thorne.

“The ability to create some seriously weird and wonderful destinations at speed and scale is seriously impressive.”

The cards were designed by Oliver’s in-house teams, who used a range of AI tools, such as AI image generation, video generation, face swap, music, and voice tools.

Oliver group creative director on the project Paul Turner said: “The campaign shows how AI technology can elevate a creative team’s toolbox. And it’s a laugh! AI has been a very serious subject this year, rightly so. However, we thought it would be nice to use AI simply to put a smile on people’s faces.”
