Supermarket chain Aldi has unveiled its latest accessory, a 75p celery bag.
The budget-friendly offering is the supermarket’s playful response to luxury brand Moschino’s recently launched Sedano Bag, which comes with an eye-watering price tag of £3,730.
Sedano is Italian for celery and the brand describes the bag as representing “Moschino’s irreverent spirit”.
Not everyone is a fan, however, and people took to social media to mock the item, with one Reddit user quipping, “rich people cosplaying regular people who do things like buying groceries.”

Aldi’s celery bag is made from real celery stalks and aims to be both functional and affordable according to the grocer.
“Our ‘Celery Bag’ is not just a fashion statement,” said an Aldi spokesperson, “it’s a celebration of affordability and good taste. At Aldi, we believe that true style should be accessible to all.”
