Timotei has enlisted TV personality and former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore to promote its latest series of celebrity podcasts.

Hair care brand Timotei has enlisted TV personality and former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore to promote its latest series of celebrity podcasts.

Title ‘A Gentle Start: The Showercast’, the series will feature celebrity guests including Laura Whitmore herself, as well as Amber Gill, Martine McCutcheon, Chessie King, and Ashley James.

The brand’s podcasts will deal with a range of serious themes such as navigating motherhood, dealing with negativity online and managing high expectations.

“We’ve had an exceptional experience working with Taylor Herring PR Agency. Their innovative approach and dedication to our brand have made the output better than I even imagined,” Timotei marketing manager, Cleo Hector said.

Promoted via social media and PR, the series will be available on Spotify and will be amplified through a paid partnership with the platform. The campaign was devised by creative comms agency Taylor Herring.

Taylor Herring managing partner, Sam Corry added: “We knew our target market was a huge consumer of podcast content, but to cut through we had to innovate the format.

“We ditched the standard presenter format, and instead we let our guests’ stream of consciousness flow, as they opened up about intimate and emotional subjects. The result? A series that is unfiltered, raw and real”.
