Fashion and homeware retailer Matalan has launched a new Halloween spot to show off its new family-focused brand platform.

Created in partnership with McCann Manchester, the “Trick or Treat” ad runs through until 31 October.

Voiced over by Motherland and Philomena Cunk star Diane Morgan, the 10-second film shows a joyful family kitted out in Halloween attire.

Goodies featured in the Matalan film include pumpkin felt baskets and garlands, as well as spooky costumes.

McCann Manchester executive creative director Imogen Tazzyman said: “Halloween – massive fun for the kids, but can be a massive mission for the parents.”

“Luckily Matalan has got you covered on everything from the costumes to the decorations – so you can keep it more treat than trick this year. Just don’t forget yourself!”
