Among the notable works produced on the account by AMV BBDO was the Guinness 0.0 ‘Eriskay Island’ spot.

AMV said it has plans to move the chief operating officer role to a more inward-facing role, focusing fully on the organisation’s internal workings, highlighting that for Pring this would take him too far away from working with clients.

Speaking about his departure Pring said: “I’m immensely proud of my time at AMV and especially the work we’ve done with Guinness and the incredible impact it has had, but now is an opportunity to do something different and I’m ready for that.”

AMV CEO Xavier Rees added: “As Michael departs from AMV, we wanted to take a moment to recognise his remarkable contribution to the agency. His dedication and leadership have left an enduring impact on our work, our clients and our team. While he will be greatly missed, we are excited to see where his talent and experience will take him next, and we wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

Pring’s departure comes just one week after the agency appointed Vicky Holgate as its new strategy partner. She will be working on Essity and RSPCA.
