Homelessness charity Shelter highlights some shocking new statistics, including that every four minutes a UK household becomes homeless, in an effort to encourage more people to pledge a gift in their will.
Created by newly rebranded production agency Proper Good Films, the two-minute long film shows a wide range of people in locations from the beach to the allotment standing at the lectern.
They each make a pledge to support the charity’s drive to push the government to create more social housing.
“The People’s Manifesto” will show across ITVX, Facebook and YouTube.

Previously known as Megaphone, it is Proper Good Film’s first commercial under its new name.
Shelter senior legacy marketing manager Elle Cohen said: “Proper Good really embraced the brief and wowed us with their pitch. Our only reservation was that it was too ambitious to translate onto screen within our budget. We’re pleased to say the film is everything we hoped it would be.“
Proper Good Films founder Ben Mann said: “I’m really proud of this film – its message sums up our core belief and vision as a company: together we can make change happen.”
The housing charity recently collaborated with Ikea to create a new “Unwelcome House” dolls house exhibition which highlights different aspects of poor and dangerous accommodation.
