Fred Sirieix to serve up romance in new Knorr spot

Stock brand Knorr has enlisted celebrity maître’d Fred Sirieix to promote its new red and white wine stock pots in its latest date night inspired campaign.

Set to go live on 2 October, the TV advert entitled ‘Give Your Date More with Knorr’ shows First Dates star Sirieix making an ordinary weeknight meal using the product as he rescues a couple’s spaghetti bolognaise dinner using the red wine stock pot to create a date-worthy dish.

Further investments includes out-of-home placements as well as social media across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.

The campaign will extend its reach throughout October, sending out over 130,000 stock cubes across Asda and Tesco alongside additional in-store hot sampling in Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

Meanwhile, Asda stores will see branded shelves featuring Sirieix’s imagery as well as a floor sticker to disrupt the stocks fixture.

The campaign draws on research revealing that 32% of Brits end up with a ‘boring’ dinner in the middle of the week.
