Banking group Santander is reviewing its global creative and media accounts with RFIs due to be sent out to agencies this week, according to Campaign.
This would mark the first time that Santander has undertaken a global review, with an as yet unnamed intermediary supporting the selection process.
Reports suggest that the bank is looking for both a creative and a media agency from the same holding group, in order to work on a unified brand strategy.

Any new work will aim to progress Santander’s existing ‘It starts here’ brand platform, which spotlights how the business can help its customers reach their full potential.
All subsequent campaigns will have an international feel, and are slated to run across the UK, US, Portugal, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. Is isn’t clear at this stage how the long-running ‘Bank of Antandec” creative will be affected.
The global review is expected to reach its conclusion by the end of Q1 2025. It is set to impact all of Santander UK’s agencies, which include creative firm House 337 and media outfit Carat.
