Confectionery brand Swizzels has partnered with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice for a Halloween-themed campaign to celebrate the launch of its new Squashies Squeletons sweets.

Developed by One Agency Media, the campaign will be centred around a 30-second hero film that showcases both the new Squashies Squeletons range as well as the popular ‘Scrumptious Sweets’.

Running through to October, the work will run across all Pearl & Dean cinemas nationwide before screenings of Tim Burton’s highly-anticipated Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

“We’re excited to introduce our uniquely shaped Halloween treats, designed to help fans sweeten their Halloween celebrations. We saw a great opportunity to elevate the category and decided to shake things up with our new product, supported by a big impact integrated campaign,” Swizzels senior brand manager, Claire Lee said.

“It’s especially exciting for us as it marks the debut of our first Halloween-themed Squashies. Both the Squashies brand and Scrumptious Sweets have been incredibly popular with consumers, and we’re confident that the ads will be a hit among Halloween fans. All of our marketing activity is key to driving awareness of our Halloween offering and showcasing new creations as well as classic favourites.”

There will also be concerted activity across ITVX in late October, targeting an adult audience. Further executions across out-of-home and in-store will support the main creative.
