Uswitch has unveiled new brand platform ‘We put U first’, designed to cement the price comparison site as the leading consumer champion for the UK market.

Created by London agency Lucky Generals, the campaign is centred around a 30-second film illustrating how Uswitch can help British households save money on bills and feel more protected.

Working with animation experts ManvsMachine, the agency’s creative focuses on how consumers can often feel lost in a flurry of bill from companies who don’t necessarily always have their best interests at heart.

“From the moment we met the Uswitch team, we were struck by the lengths the brand goes to in order to put the needs of Britons front and centre,” said Lucky Generals creative director, Danny Hunt.

“We wanted to find a memorable way of communicating this consumer-first philosophy. The ‘U in a box’ within Uswitch’s logo was the perfect jumping off point for an iconic U-centric world!”

The brand’s new platform will be brought to life across TV, radio, social media and digital, with dedicated ads for energy, broadband and mobile to follow.

Uswitch CMO, Rachael Pollard added, “With our new brand campaign, we wanted to find a memorable and ownable way of elevating our core belief of putting customers first. The ‘We Put U First’ brand platform from Lucky Generals encapsulates this perfectly.

“At Uswitch we have a rich history of standing up for consumers. We are constantly fighting for competitive prices, better service and greater choice. That’s why more people come to us for their energy, broadband and mobile deals than any other site in the UK.”
